CONTROL AND TESTING MOMENTS
All PCBAs produced by us meet high quality requirements and already undergo a number of inspection and testing moments during the production process. These include a visual inspection and, for SMT, an AOI check: automatic optical inspection. In addition to correct placement of the various components, this system also checks the solder joints of SMT components.
Functional Testing
Would you also like to have your PCBA and/or assembled finished product functionally tested to uncover problems not detectable with the other forms of verification? We would be happy to take care of that for you. We test with predefined test scripts so that failures are kept to a minimum. Testing is usually done on a test setup and test instructions provided by you. We can also develop and manufacture this test setup for you. From a simple simple (wired) test setup to a high-end pencil bed test setup. We think along with your wishes in a flexible way.
One of the test types we use to deliver PCBs error-free is the pin bed. This is a system where the PCBA is placed on a pin bed (bed-of-nails). The pins make contact with various test pads on the PCB, thus testing the quality.
Do you want to use a non-destructive test to determine the suitability of electrical insulation for the normally occurring overvoltage surge? For that, we have a HIPOT test from Chroma in a fully enclosed test room for this purpose. We also have the facilities to program ICs or ICs on board in-house. If you prefer to have them programmed through our suppliers' programming service, that is also possible.
