About Global Electronics BV:

For over 31 years Global Electronics from Haaksbergen has been a supplier for advanced assembly of printed circuit boards in the high-tech electronics market. We assemble printed circuit boards for reputable clients supplying finished products to customers in a variety of industries. We have test facilities and a production line to assemble end products (box build).

In addition, we support our clients in assembly optimization by working together prior to the production process to analyze its manufacturability and determine how to minimize component procurement costs.

Prototypes and series productions for clients are supplied to customers operating in the measurement and control engineering, telecommunications, chemical, petrochemical and medical industries, among others. Finally, we supply customers who develop and sell IoT applications, wish to reduce 'time to market' and benefit from fast delivery.

What will you do as a Project Manager?

As Project Manager, you play an essential role in guiding and realizing (new) projects in accordance with our customers' requirements. You are responsible for providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth completion of projects. 

You act as an important link between internal departments and external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Thorough orientation to our internal business processes.
• Collect relevant project information.
• Testing projects for technical and economic feasibility.
• Establish final project definition.
• Consult and coordinate with all parties involved during all project phases.
• Ensure adequate planning, budget monitoring and project organization.
• Lead the project process: progress, quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support executive departments during the implementation of projects.

What does this position require of you?

• You have HBO working and thinking level.
• Thorough knowledge of project management.
• You have a minimum of 3-5 years work experience in a similar role (within the electronics or engineering industry would be a plus).
• You have proficiency in the use of CRM systems (preferably knowledge of Exact) and MS Office applications.
• You are analytical, have organizational skills and commercial acumen; knowledge of electronics and technical products is a plus; it is not a technical position, but you will be working in a technical environment.
• You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You are precise and structured, have an eye for detail and can maintain an integral overview.
• You have drive, want to get the process right and have team spirit.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English and have basic knowledge of German. 
• You have excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• You have a healthy dose of humor.
